Memorial Day is a day to remember the courage, sacrifice, and lives of those who never came home.

On Flag Day we commemorate the adoption of the U.S. flag in 1777 by the Second Continental Congress. The day honors the history and symbolism of the American flag.

On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, which is considered the day that slavery ended in the United States.

Celebrate Father's Day by showing appreciation for all the amazing dads, grandfathers, and father figures who make life brighter. Whether it’s grilling outdoors, sharing laughs, enjoying family time, or giving thoughtful gifts, Father’s Day is the perfect time to recognize the love, support, and unforgettable memories dads bring to our lives.

Labor Day is a national holiday dedicated to celebrating the hardworking people who help build and support our communities. Observed on the first Monday in September, it’s a time to relax, gather with friends and family, and enjoy the final days of summer.

Call it Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples' Day—either way, it’s the rare holiday where America agrees on one thing: it’s nice to have a day off while we argue about what to call it.
